Person specification The duties and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Perform general day-to-day office duties (scanning, shredding, copying etc) and monitor reception desk. Must be proficient in the use of Word, Excel and have a good base understanding of IT as most tasks will be computer based. Patient facing interactions and communication in-person and via telephone and email. Manage appointment book and caseload to ensure efficient use of clinic time and resource. Attending meetings, supporting quality improvement initiatives and regular review of admin processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the coordinated and continued improvement of the unit’s function. Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information in accordance with Practice procedures.
