We have an exciting opportunity for Support Workers to join our friendly and experienced specialist brain injury and neurological care service in Newmains, Wishaw.
We provide individualised assessment and intensive rehabilitation to help people recover from a brain injury. At all times we work to achieve the best possible outcomes in terms of independence and quality of life.
Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre provides specialist care for up to 46 residents at any one time.
A specially designed therapy kitchen allows users to learn new skills that will serve them long after they have left our care. We are extremely proud to be accredited as an approved provider of specialist Brain Injury Care by the Headway Brain Injury Association.
Full time and part-time hours
Rotational- Dayshift 7.00pm / Nightshift 7.Both day and night shifts
Permanent night shifts available
Support patients to undertake their rehabilitation programme
Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible for our young people
Experience working within the care sector / mental health would be an advantage but not essential
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
