The Role
As a Legal Assistant, you will:
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to Partners, fee earners, and PAs.
2. Manage filing systems, both electronic and physical, including opening and closing files.
3. Assist in the billing and credit control process, ensuring accurate time recording.
4. Handle documentation for client account transactions in compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules.
5. Conduct legal research and manage data-rooms and electronic storage.
6. Support the administration of file archiving and retrieval services.
7. Assist with ad hoc administrative duties such as scanning, photocopying, and printing.
The Candidate
The ideal Legal Assistant will:
8. Possess exceptional client service skills and a proactive attitude.
9. Be enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work autonomously.
10. Have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
11. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to handle competing demands.
12. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
13. Be an effective team player with the ability to use initiative.
14. Be willing to work outside normal hours if required.
