We're excited to share our Shift Leader position at our extra care service, Beaumont House. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key part in leading and supporting your colleagues to deliver outstanding care. As a Shift Leader, you work alongside the Team Leaders and Service Manager to support the day-to-day running of Beaumont House and will lead on advising and motivating the care team to ensure that we provide the best possible service to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Support the team with shift plans and rota management. Be a leader in the service and empower the team members in everything they do, acting as the best practice role model. Act as a champion for our customers and team. You'll help to create a happy, homely atmosphere. Liaise with GP's and social workers where needed for customers. Complete staff competencies for medication, practice observations, random spot checks and review daily medication administration. Support with ordering/collection of medication for customers. Our ideal Shift Leader will…. Have previous experience working with older and vulnerable people. Have experience supporting end of life care within the setting. Understand the CQC fundamental standards and how these relate to the role. Be able to work as part of a team. Be able to communicate both verbally and written. Have high attention to detail.
