The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
As an Assistant Team Manager, you are the bridge between strategy and practice. You will support the Team Manager in the day-to-day running of the service while providing expert clinical supervision to Social Workers.

Lead & Mentor: Provide high-quality supervision and guidance to a team of Social Workers, helping them navigate complex caseloads.

Quality Assurance: Oversee assessments and care plans to ensure they meet the highest statutory standards.

Decision Making: Take the lead on strategy meetings and represent the authority in court proceedings when required.

Performance Tracking: Help monitor team performance to ensure visits and reviews are completed within timescales.

Pay: Up to £42.00 per hour (depending on experience).

Status: Full-time, Locum contract.

Requirements: SWE Registration, significant post-qualifying experience in Children's Services, and prior experience in a Senior or Lead Practitioner role.
