Job Title: Senior Board Co-ordinator. ( Cancer Services )
Location: 2 Cavendish Head Office, Oxford Circus London.
Working Pattern: There is some opportunity to work hybrid office/remote
Salary: Depending upon experience the range is £39085-£47771
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: This is a full-time role however start and finish times can vary each week within the hours of 8am-8pm, depending on board meetings bookings
What you’ll do:
1. Oversee co-ordination, preparation, resource, equipment, reports and attendance for 14 different boards, per quarter.
2. Schedule meetings, send invitations and proactively track attendance
3. Prepare and distribute meeting notifications, correspondence, agenda materials, presentations and vital documents, in a timely manner, pre and post meetings.
4. Support delivery of each Boards objectives providing a highly effective liaison service within the office and across HCA Healthcare UK’s facilities.
5. Work closely with the Cancer Service Line team to lead and implement board projects and delivery of action points.
6. Maintain an up-to-date tracker of all board projects- ensuring all key stakeholders are delivering on set projects.
7. Maintain and develop relationships with a range of stakeholders across clinical and non-clinical areas.
8. Support with diary management of operational team meetings and other diary and administrative management related to the efficient functioning of the cancer service line.
What you’ll bring:
9. Previous experience of working as a medical secretary, MDT or governance board coordinator in the healthcare setting.
10. Substantial Medical Terminology knowledge
11. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
12. Excellent general IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Package e.g. Word, Power Point, MS Teams, Excel, Visio, Sharepoint.
13. Previous experience of Cancer Service delivery in the Healthcare Sector
