Head of Department | Private Client | Gloucestershire | Hybrid | Job Ref: 215303281 A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Gloucestershire is seeking an experienced Head of Private Client to lead its established and growing department. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior solicitor looking to step into a key leadership role within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. In this position, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Private Client team while also maintaining your own varied caseload. You will play a pivotal role in the continued growth of the department, supporting and supervising junior members of staff, and ensuring the delivery of a consistently high standard of client care. Your caseload will cover a broad range of private client matters, including probate and estate administration, trusts, wills and estate planning, lasting powers of attorney, and inheritance tax advice and planning. Alongside your technical responsibilities, you will also contribute to business development initiatives and help strengthen client relationships across the firm. The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with 7 years’ PQE in private client work, with strong technical expertise across all core areas. You will have previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, along with excellent client relationship management and business development skills. The ability to manage your own caseload effectively while leading and developing a team is essential.
