Job Description
This position plays a pivotal role within the Global Training and Development department, ensuring the successful delivery of training initiatives on a global scale. As part of the Global Training Delivery and Quality team, the role involves collaborating closely with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders worldwide. The role holder will be instrumental in supporting the implementation of the Global Training Strategy, integrating it into innovative, effective, and appropriate training delivery methods to meet Organisational goals
The role holder will also lead the scoping, design, and development of training courses, working closely with the Solution Consultancy team. This includes facilitating training sessions for a wide range of internal and external audiences.
Proficiency in delivering instructor-led training is essential for this role, and familiarity with applying pedagogy and evidence-based teaching practices is crucial. The role holder will manage the entire training lifecycle, from conceptualising and designing learning solutions to delivering impactful sessions and evaluating customer satisfaction. This requires a high degree of autonomy and expertise in creating and delivering effective learning experiences.
Duties:
* Deliver Targeted Training Programmes: Conduct engaging training sessions aligned with the Global Training Plan and tailored to the target audience. Ensure efficient, effective execution.
* Develop High-Quality Training Materials: Create and enhance training content, including presentations, videos, and handouts, ensuring materials are clear, relevant, and aligned with organisational objectives.
* Develop training pathways to support individuals in their roles, enhancing competency and facilitating career progression. Utilise multiple platforms, including in-person, online, and virtual training, to deliver comprehensive and effective learning experiences.
* Design and Implement Training Programmes: Develop comprehensive training agendas, methods, and frameworks. Independently research and prepare content while actively participating in project meetings.
* Conduct Scoping Exercises: Identify training needs for roles across the organisation.
* Engage with Global Teams: Tailor training content for specific regional or divisional requirements.
* Collaborate on Training Material Development: Provide guidance and support in creating training materials, working collaboratively with external vendors as required.
* Facilitate Train-the-Trainer (T3) Programmes: Conduct T3 training sessions for new internal trainers and external training providers to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery standards.
* Evaluate and Improve Training Programmes: In collaboration with the Training Quality Manager, collect and analyse feedback from training events to enhance materials and delivery. Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders, including Line Managers, HR, and Business Functions.
* Ensure Timely and Accurate Delivery: Manage multiple requirements, ensuring all training programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and with 100% accuracy in the learner’s journey.
* Drive Process and Quality Improvements: Champion the flow of information to improve processes and enhance the quality of training delivery and materials.
* Provide Consultancy and Expertise: Offer advice and guidance in the creation and implementation of instructor-led training, supporting stakeholders to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
* Stay Current with Industry Trends: Demonstrate knowledge of the commercial application of training and instructional design while keeping abreast of emerging L&D trends to drive innovation and relevance in training solutions.
* Introduce Innovative Training Methods: Enhance the learning experience with new training methods and tools.
* Promote a Culture of Continuous Learning: Foster an environment that encourages ongoing learning and development within the organisation.
* Facilitate Organisation Workshops and Away Days: As needed, facilitate workshops and away days to develop teams and individuals.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience :
Education:
* Degree in Human Resources Management or any other relevant discipline.
* Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Education and Training or Level 5 CIPD
Knowledge/Skills:
* Able to respond in a timely way to global staff from different time zones.
* Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
* Individuals must be proficient in MS Office applications.
* Ability to handle stressful situations and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience:
The role holder should be an experienced Trainer with significant experience of delivering a wide array of professional development courses it I preferred they also have experience managing or supervising a team.
Work Balance:
30% Training design and delivery
70% Training Delivery
This role is required to travel up to 70% of the time both nationally and internationally
