Are you a driven and commercially minded sales professional looking to make a real impact? We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team, covering the West Midlands region.
As a Business Development Manager, your key responsibility will be to maximise the sales of our full product range, achieving and exceeding budgeted targets. You’ll play a vital role in identifying and converting both core and technical product opportunities, working closely with existing stockists to increase volumes. You will also develop a strong network of end users, enhancing our market presence and strengthening relationships with Merchants and Distributors in your territory.

Key Tasks and Duties:
1. Develop new and maintain existing, long term business relationships with end users (end users to include Main Contractors, House Builders and Developers, Sub-contractors such as Ground Workers, Bricklayers, Plasterers and Screeders and Roofing Contractors plus others).
2. Work closely with existing customer base of Distributors and Key Merchants ensuring growth of all product groups and securing margin growth
3. Create and maintain a working Journey Plan for designated Sales Area
4. Use the Company CRM system (PSA) to maintain all records of daily Activities and to generate quotes (CDQ’s) for existing customers.
5. Working with the relevant Specification Manager maintain a project pipeline that can be used with Merchants & Distributors.
6. Have a monthly meeting with relevant Specification Manager to discuss projects and customer targets to maximize technical product sales with designated sales area.
7. Where appropriate work with relevant Sales Support Executive to ensure all customers within designated sales area have all the current POS and Literature.
8. Ensure that company standards of performance are achieved at all times, eg call rates & reporting
9. Attend all Unilin UK & Regional Sales Meetings
10. In line with CCPI Competency Training Matrix, the ability to present the current Unilin Part L CPD.
The KPI’s will be used to measure your performance in line with company expectation
