As Senior Operational Resilience Manager – Insurance, you will be responsible for ensuring that Enterprise Operational Resilience Policies are implemented and adhered to within Bupa’s Insurance Businesses. You will also maintain implementing processes and frameworks to meet Regulatory Requirements.
How you’ll help us make health happen
1. Supporting the Head of Operational Resilience with embedding of Group and Market Unit wide operational resilience framework and strategies across UK Insurance and Bupa Global
2. Managerial responsibility for a team of four
3. Responsible for leading and coordinating operational resilience requirements as laid out in the PRA and FCA Operational Resilience Regulations
4. Ensuring that business continuity management procedures are in place and operating effectively, whilst evidencing continuous improvement
5. Ensuring UK Insurance remains compliant with ISO22301:2019 Standard and being the key point of contact for the annual ISO22301 Audit.
6. Responsible for ensuring that the IRE Insurance business operates within compliance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), leading and coordinating the implementation and embedding of DORA
7. Responsible for the development and administration of crisis management procedures across the Insurance Business Units
8. Supporting the continuous development of a strong operational resilience culture to enable connected resilience
9. Own and establish strong relationship with key stakeholders in Group, Market Unit and Business Units
What you will bring:
10. Experience at a senior level in resilience and continuity in a similar role
11. The ability to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines with strong organisation and prioritisation skills
12. Efficient and organised with attention to detail and accuracy
13. The ability to influence senior stakeholders
14. Experience or knowledge of ISO 22301 standard
15. Detailed knowledge of FCA & PRA Operational Resilience Regulations is essential and knowledge of Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is preferential
