We are a supply education provider currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of schools in York. We offer both full-time and flexible supply opportunities, making this an excellent option for those seeking regular work or greater flexibility within education.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across various year groups
* Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
* Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence in learning
* Support pupils with different abilities to access the curriculum
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
The Ideal Candidate
We welcome applications from individuals who:
* Have experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
* Are patient, adaptable, and professional in their approach
* Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team
* Are reliable, flexible, and committed to supporting pupils
No formal Teaching Assistant qualification is required. Training and ongoing support are provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
