Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Early Years Practitioner, based on‑site in Glasgow. The role involves supporting the development and education of young children in a safe, engaging, and inspiring environment. Responsibilities include planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities, monitoring and recording progress, and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. The practitioner will ensure compliance with nursery standards, promote child welfare, and contribute to a consistent and high‑quality learning experience.
Qualifications
* Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Knowledge of Early Childhood Development principles and experience working with young children in a professional capacity.
* Creativity Skills for developing engaging, age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
* Excellent Organization Skills to manage tasks, maintain records, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
* Passion for early years education and creating supportive learning environments.
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., HNC, SVQ, or equivalent).
* Understanding of child safeguarding policies and procedures.
* First Aid certification and food hygiene training are advantageous.
