Day‑to‑Day of the Role
* Collaborate with families, foster carers, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored care plans.
* Conduct assessments and provide support to ensure the well‑being and development of children in care.
* Maintain accurate records and reports on child progress and care activities.
* Participate in training and development sessions to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
* Engage in reflective practice and supervision to improve service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* BA or MA in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or equivalent recognised qualification.
* Registered with Social Work England.
* Experience working with children and families, preferably as a qualified social worker.
* Strong relationship‑building skills with children, families, colleagues, and partner agencies.
* Ability to analyse information effectively and write high‑quality assessments.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
* Resilience and motivation to support families and children in challenging situations.
