Huge Small Victories
Being a maintenance worker in our school means being part of something big. You’ll be doing your bit to make sure the school building is a great place to be for our young people.
Get out what you put in
You’ll do all the general, day-to-day repairs needed to keep our school up and running, drive the school vehicles and keep them in good working order, as well as making sure the school grounds and garden are kept neat and tidy. You’ll also be a familiar, friendly face, which means our young people may stop to chat with you. We will provide you with training on child safeguarding to give you extra confidence!
One of the best environments in SEND
The transformational effect of Avon Park School is consistently witnessed by parents, carers, and professionals. The school’s ability to connect and engage with pupils results from its strong ethos of “high expectations and aspirations for every child” – recently rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
All school staff, including teaching, pastoral, and therapy teams, work collaboratively to ensure each pupil develops academically, emotionally, and personally. This ‘whole school’ approach helps pupils with ADHD, ASD, Asperger’s, or SEMH grow into capable and confident young people eager to succeed.
