What you will do
* Provide safe and timely delivery of frontline occupational therapy services within the directorate, impacting lives of people with learning disabilities and autism.
* Support triage and reduce duplication between health and social care to streamline processes and reduce OT waiting lists.
* Assist external care providers to ensure correct and safe moving and handling tasks, promoting best practices and safety.
* Review care packages to ensure best value for adult social care and optimal use of available equipment.
* Review double-handed care packages to determine necessary adjustments.
* Provide mutual aid to other occupational therapy areas as required.
* Deliver thorough OT assessments and reviews across the directorate, ensuring high-quality care and support.
Requirements
* HCPC registration is required.
* Valid driving licence; role involves travel across locations.
