Some students also have autism spectrum conditions (ASC), social communication difficulties or associated learning challenges. While some have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), support is tailored to meet each child’s individual needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will help students to engage with learning and make progress both academically and personally. You will work one-to-one and in small groups, supporting lessons, promoting positive behaviour strategies, and building strong, trusting relationships.
