About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Programmes and Impact (P&I) Team through the second year of the current Impact Strategy, focusing on quality assurance, impact management systems, and standardising our Long-Term Outcomes framework.
As Director of Programmes and Impact (maternity cover), you will oversee training, delivery, and continuous improvement of our core programme, ensuring consistent and high-quality implementation. You will manage the team to meet impact and quality targets for the 2025/26 programme year.
You will be a key member of the senior management team, working closely with the Board, CEO, and senior colleagues to drive growth and impact strategy, while maintaining our organisational culture. You will also serve as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring the safety of our young people and staff through policy implementation and monitoring.

Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality national programmes
* Manage impact and impact management processes
* Lead safeguarding as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
* Provide strategic leadership as a member of SMT
Essential Experience and Skills
* Senior leadership experience
* Expertise in impact management and data analysis to inform programme quality
* Experience designing and delivering training and quality assurance for programme teams
* Experience implementing safeguarding policies and training, ideally as DSL
* Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills, including working with senior leadership and trustees
