Bright Selection is delighted to be supporting a specialist, values-led care provider in the appointment of an experienced Deputy Manager for a highly regarded nursing service in Hampshire.
This is a key leadership role within a complex care environment supporting adults living with dementia and mental health needs.
Working closely with the Registered Manager, the Deputy Manager will support the day-to-day clinical and operational leadership of the home, ensuring consistently high standards of safety, compliance, and person-centred care. The position offers a predominantly supernumerary leadership presence with some clinical visibility on shift, providing the opportunity to influence culture, develop teams, and drive continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide visible clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team
Support governance, audits, incidents, and care planning to maintain safe, effective services
Promote strong compliance aligned to CQC Fundamental Standards
Contribute to recruitment, supervision, and colleague development
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and professionals
Champion safeguarding, medication management, and health & safety
Candidate Requirements
Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with active NMC registration
Proven leadership experience within complex care, neurological, dementia, or mental health services
Strong understanding of clinical governance and regulatory expectations
Confident team leader able to coach, motivate, and develop others
Organised, compassionate, and values-driven approach
