Job Description
Responsibilities
* Provide support to the Principal and Senior Consultant.
* Conduct site surveys, assessments, measurements, inspections, and monitoring following BS5837:2012 and tree hazard assessment guidelines.
* Collect and interpret arboricultural information from desk studies.
* Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and contribute to arboricultural impact assessments and method statements.
* Coordinate with design teams to develop mitigation solutions.
* Analyse data and manage project delivery.
* Assist senior and junior team members.
* Price projects for small sites.
* Participate in recruitment activities when required.
* Support junior colleagues in their career development.
* Meet tight deadlines and maintain high quality standards.
Qualifications
* Enthusiasm for arboriculture and willingness to learn.
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in arboriculture or a related field.
* Professional Tree Inspector (PTI) certificate.
* Experience as an arboriculture consultant, local authority tree officer, or similar role.
* Experience conducting arboriculture surveys using digital data capture devices.
* Experience producing high quality technical reports to support planning applications.
* Capability to work within a multidisciplinary team of arboricultural, landscape, and environmental professionals.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and arboricultural survey methodologies.
* Willingness to travel throughout the UK on a regular basis.
* A commitment to developing core arboriculture and consultancy skills.
* Positive health and safety mindset and understanding of workplace safety practices.
* Professional conduct and responsibility in all work activities.
