Client Financial Affairs Team Leader
Job reference: 10323 | Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week | Salary: £34,434 – £36,363 per annum (Scale H) | Location: County Hall, Norwich.
Part of Norfolk County Council, the Client Financial Affairs team provides an Appointeeship and Deputyship Service on behalf of the Executive Director of Adult Social Services, supporting service users who have been assessed under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 as being unable to manage their own financial affairs.
Key responsibilities
* Oversee complex case decision‑making and provide expert guidance to the team.
* Lead a dedicated team to deliver high‑quality Appointeeship and Deputyship services in line with Office of Public Guardian and DWP standards.
* Ensure timely, client‑focused financial management for those unable to manage their finances.
Key qualifications
* Experience in financial management or social care sector.
* Strong leadership and team‑management skills.
* Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and relevant statutory frameworks.
* Excellent communication and decision‑making abilities.
