Factories 1, 2 and 3 are looking for a Training Officer to ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are trained to the required standard and in line with company procedure for all employees. This role would be ideal for someone that is looking to develop their learning & development career in a friendly and flexible business.Reporting to the Factory Manager / Learning and Development Business Partner, key responsibilities for the role will include (but not limited to):
* To induct all new employees inside the factory and ensure all SOPs in line with new starter procedure is completed also to ensure all paperwork is complete and filed appropriately.
* Effectively manage SOP training for factory operatives, semi-skilled and skilled operatives in the factory alongside buddies.
* To provide some mandatory training in exceptional circumstances. (L2 Food Safety, L2 HACCP and Allergen).
* To keep up to date records of all training undertaken.
* Ensure all electronic information is complete and accurate and the training and skills matrix is regularly updated.
* Work and liaise with shift managers, factory managers and L&D Business Partner to ensure all processes are completed in a timely manner.
* Be prepared to undergo mentor and Train the Trainer Training
Key skills/experience required:
* Strong IT skills – proficient at Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Good organisational ability
* Strong communication skills
* Experience of delivering training (preferably in a food or manufacturing environment)
* Knowledge of equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice
* Experience of working with a diverse workforce
* Knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety and Allergen awareness
