Are you an experienced Field Service Technician with a strong background in plant or construction machinery?\n\nWe're currently recruiting for a Field Service Technician to join a highly respected machinery business, the UK arm of an international engineering group. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role with excellent earning potential, top-tier equipment, and a supportive team that values your expertise.\n\nLocation: Northampton | On-site\nHours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-6:00pm (Flexible)\nPay: £45,000 - £52,000 per annum (DOE)\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCarrying out planned maintenance and repairs on piling rigs and heavy plant equipment\nDiagnosing and fixing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults\nWorking with diesel engines and complex electro-hydraulic systems\nTravelling to customer sites across the UK and Ireland, with occasional overnight stays\nProviding professional, knowledgeable support as the face of the company\nKeeping your service vehicle and equipment in top working orderRequirements:\n\nHas 5+ years of experience working with heavy plant or construction equipment\nUnderstands diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems\nCan confidently diagnose and resolve mechanical/electrical faults\nHas a full, clean UK driving licence\nIs willing to travel and stay away when requiredWhat's On Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary with regular overtime\nFully kitted-out service van\nPaid travel time to and from site \n25 days holiday + bank holidays \nPrivate healthcare \nCompany pension scheme \nFree on-site parking\nOngoing training & developmentIf you are interested in this role then please apply with an up-to-date CV.
