An Ofsted-rated Good college in Greater Manchester is seeking a Multi-Skills Construction Lecturer to join their growing team. The Role
As a Multi-Skills Construction Lecturer, you will:
* Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in construction disciplines, to learners of varying abilities
* Share your industry expertise to equip students with the essential skills, knowledge, and techniques for success in the construction industry
* Monitor and support learners progress to ensure they reach their full potential
* Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant learning environment, both in the workshop and classroom
* Contribute to curriculum development and ensure high-quality delivery of the programme
What We re Looking For
Ideally you will be:
* A qualified lecturer in a construction subject
* Ability to teach across multiple construction disciplines
* Possess a recognised teaching qualification (TQ)
We also welcome applications those who have:
* Professional experience in the construction industry
* Skills in more than one trade (plumbing and/or brickwork particularly desirable, though other trades will be considered)
* Hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
* Willingness to obtain a teaching qualification, with support provided
* Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check prior to commencement of employment
