About the Role
Lecturer in Accounting & Finance teaching across undergraduate levels in the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexible teaching across weekdays, evenings and weekends to inspire student learning.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Plan, deliver and assess core accounting modules (Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation, Audit).
* Develop, update and improve course materials.
* Use diverse learning and teaching methods.
* Engage in staff development activities, peer observations and meetings.
* Keep up to date with developments in your field and student support practices.
* Meet student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression objectives.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance (UK or PSRB equivalent); PhD desirable.
* Previous UK HE lecturing experience delivering core accounting modules.
* Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
* Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
* Accurate reporting and organised student records.
* Work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
* Work with diverse groups of people.
Desirable
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme within the probationary period.
* Full qualification from PSRB affiliates (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, IFA).
