We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Chef Managers to join our ESS Offshore team on a 1-year FTC.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Chef Manager, you will organize and supervise the unit, ensuring the overall efficient and effective management of your area while providing a quality service. Responsibilities include the preparation, cooking, and service of food, as well as overseeing laundry, accommodation, and janitorial services to meet established standards and specifications. You will also ensure the efficient and economical use of all resources, including stock, labor, and assets.
More About The Role
1. Promote a safety culture across the unit, ensuring all Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed, including food handling, manual handling, and fire procedures.
2. Maintain all Food Safety and Health & Safety documentation to ensure full compliance.
3. Ensure all equipment and machinery are in safe working order; report faults or repairs promptly using the appropriate procedures.
4. Manage the delivery of food services across the unit, utilizing resources effectively to provide meals that meet quality standards at scheduled times, ensuring a consistent customer experience.
5. Develop and improve client and customer relationships proactively.
Who You Are
1. Proven experience as a Chef Manager.
2. Passion for food.
3. Excellent client relationship, people management, and communication skills.
4. Highly motivated.
5. Financial awareness, with the ability to complete weekly business reports and manage P&L responsibilities.
6. Consistently high standards of food and service quality.
7. Friendly and approachable, with strong management skills to develop and lead a team.

3. OEUK Medical plus Food Handlers Medical
4. Shoulder Measurements
5. Advanced First Aid Certification
