Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme (ST4) who are looking for 2 Teaching Assistants to start in September. This school strives to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all its pupils and are looking for individuals who can collaborate with the team to maintain this.
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who is considering a career in teaching, or an experienced Teaching Assistant who is seeking a new role.
About the role:
* Start- date: September
* Part-time and full-time opportunity available
* Opportunity to earn £90-£95 per day (dependent on experience)
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Class Teacher, supporting in general lessons to manage behaviour as well as assisting with lesson/resource preparation when necessary. You will create and implement individualised learning/support plans for students who require additional learning assistance. This will include providing 1-1 and small group support with core subjects as well as general social and emotional support.
What we’re looking for:
* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
* Experience working with young students is essential
* Genuine passion for supporting and developing young pupils
* Good knowledge of behaviour/classroom management techniques
* Safeguarding training (can be done through Teaching Personnel)
