The Opportunity
SourceCo Recruitment are currnetly working with a well established and fast paced logistical business, who are currently looking to add a Logistics Coordinator to their time critical team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in transport or freight forwarding who thrives in a high pressure, solutions driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing customer enquiries and orders via phone and email
2. Planning, booking, and tracking UK & European shipments
3. Providing transport solutions across road and airfreight
4. Handling time critical and line stoppage situations
5. Sourcing and liaising with suppliers and carriers
6. Producing accurate quotations and job updates
7. Ensuring all jobs are completed, cost effective, and profitable
8. Closing jobs, obtaining PODs, and maintaining accurate records
