Site Earthworks Civil Engineer
Location: Middlesbrough (covering Teesside & the North East)
Salary: Circa £45k - £50k base + Company Van
Start Date: Immediate

The Opportunity
Due to a sustained increase in workload, a leading national earthworks and civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Earthworks Civil Engineer to support projects across Teesside and the wider North East.
This role is based from the company’s Middlesbrough office and will involve managing multiple live sites, working closely with site teams, surveyors, and subcontractors. The business already has a strong engineering presence across Yorkshire and is now strengthening coverage in the North East.
Projects
You will be responsible for a varied portfolio of schemes including:
Residential housing plots

Commercial developments
\t
Industrial projects
Typical project durations range from 6 weeks to 6 months, offering a fast-paced and diverse workload.
Scope of Works
Bulk and detailed earthworks
\t
Ground stabilisation
\t
Remediation works
\t
Setting out and quality control
\t
Site engineering support from start to completion
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site / Earthworks Civil Engineer
\t
Strong background in earthworks, stabilisation, and remediation
\t
Competent with GPS machine control systems, specifically Trimble
\t
Comfortable managing multiple sites simultaneously
\t
Full UK driving license
