Overview
Annual salary: up to £27,854.73. Location: Manchester. Contract: Office based, full time, 12 month fixed term contract. Hours: 42 hours per week, night shift 8.00pm – 8.30am, 4 on 4 off. Salary up to £27,854.73 per annum.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to a range of central government contracts and support staff to deliver outstanding service in a fast‑moving environment.
* Assist the Customer Service Team Leaders with delegated responsibilities such as ad‑hoc shift leading, routine monitoring of telephony and email volumes, quality checks and coordination of work to customer service agents.
* Support the administration process to ensure accurate and timely recording and response to all client, service user and company communication.
* Execute administrative duties across all functions within the team.
* Manage requisitions and documents to keep information on the system accurate and up to date.
* Ensure the customer experience is central to all activities, completing tasks within agreed timeframes.
* Collaborate proactively with the team and other Mears colleagues to provide exceptional service to clients, customers and service users.
* Maintain accurate records and IT data on systems, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
* Undertake ad‑hoc projects and provide support and cover for colleagues and teams within Mears Housing Management.
Qualifications
* Experience working within Customer Service.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
* Skilled in managing and prioritising a large and varied workload.
* IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office packages, including basic Excel.
* Strong ability to work within a fast‑paced environment.
* Resilient and adaptable to changing priorities.
* Full compliance with Mears code of conduct, contractual terms and group policies.
