We are currently recruiting for a skilled MIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Barnsley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable role with great hours, finishing early every day and working within a supportive team environment.
The Role As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on a range of metal components while ensuring all work meets required standards.
Key Responsibilities
* MIG welding mild steel components
* Working from engineering drawings and specifications
* Fabricating and assembling metal parts
* Inspecting welds to ensure quality and accuracy
* Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
* Supporting general fabrication duties where required
The Candidate
* Previous MIG welding experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
* Reliable with a strong work ethic
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
