The Role Reporting directly to the Managing Director, youll take ownership of day-to-day operations while leading improvements in efficiency, quality, and output. This role is a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on involvement ideal for someone who enjoys being on the factory floor as much as in the boardroom. Key responsibilities include: Leading production, warehouse, and supply chain activities. Overseeing daily manufacturing, ensuring products are delivered on time and to the highest standards. Driving continuous improvement across efficiency, quality, and compliance. Managing supplier relationships, stock control, and logistics. Coaching and developing a multi-skilled team, fostering a positive workplace culture. Supporting business growth through KPI development, cost control, and system improvements. What Were Looking For Proven experience in operations or production management within SME manufacturing. A hands-on leader who can roll up their sleeves to solve problems. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (bottle filling, chemicals, hand packing, or consumables experience a plus). Supply chain and inventory management expertise. Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of health & safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
