We’re working with a fast-growing, venture-backed technology startup that’s redefining how AI is applied in healthcare. Their platforms are already trusted by major global pharmaceutical organisations, and they’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agentic systems.
As an AI Engineer, you’ll join a small, high-impact team building production-grade AI systems from the ground up. You’ll have real ownership, influence over technical direction, and the chance to work with cutting-edge AI architectures that move quickly from idea to real-world impact.
What you’ll do
* Design and scale Python backend services and APIs
* Build secure, high-performance, multi-tenant cloud platforms
* Develop and deploy LLM-powered and agentic AI workflows
* Collaborate closely with product, data science, and UX teams
* Work hands-on with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
What you’ll bring
* Strong Python backend experience in production environments
* Hands-on experience deploying LLMs and AI systems
* Solid cloud experience (AWS preferred)
* Understanding of scalable architectures and modern AI techniques
* Startup mindset: ownership, curiosity, and bias for action
Nice to have
* Healthcare or pharma domain experience
* Familiarity with React or frontend collaboration
* Experience working to ISO27001 standards
