Working to Modernise the UK’s Energy Infrastructure
AECOM has recently been appointed, in joint venture with Arup, to provide design and consenting services for National Grid’s Great Grid Upgrade programme.
This major infrastructure investment will strengthen the UK electricity transmission network, helping connect renewable energy sources — including offshore wind — into the grid by 2030 and beyond.

Qualifications
Ready to Push the Limits of What’s Possible?
We are looking for candidates with:
* An Electrical or Electronic Engineering qualification such as:
o BSc/BEng
o MSc/MEng
* Demonstrable electrical engineering design and/or consultancy experience in any regulated sector
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients, colleagues, stakeholders, and subcontractors
* The ability to explain, discuss, and resolve technical issues effectively while capturing and responding to feedback
