About the Role
This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Officer located in the Coleraine Head Office. As part of a team of 3, The Account Officers are responsible for the booking keeping, finances and reporting of all 5 branches.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
* Entering customer payments onto sales ledger
* Customer invoice, credit and statement generation
* Managing debtors
* Month end sales routine and reporting
* Cash sale reporting
Accounts Payable
* Entering supplier invoices and credits onto purchase ledger
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Processing payments to suppliers
* Raising and monitors debit notes for supplier discrepancies
* Purchase month end routine and reporting
Other Responsibilities
* Bank reconciliation
* Managing expenses
* Stock take entry and reconciliation
Experience
* Relevant experience is preferred but not essential
Skills
Skills are more valued than experience, however, a willingness to learn is most favourable. Desirable skills include:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Ability to work as part of team
* Customer service and communication skills (face to face, on the telephone and via email)
* Analytical and problem solving-skills
* Operating ERP systems
