Head of Civil/Structural EngineeringAdlington Permanent Competitive PackageWe're looking for a strategic and technically strong Head of Civil/Structural Engineering to lead the delivery of civil and structural design across a range of complex projects, bids, and studies.This is a key leadership role — ensuring designs meet the highest standards in safety, compliance, efficiency, and quality, while also supporting resource management and acting as a subject matter expert within the business.?? Key Responsibilities:
* Own the quality and timely delivery of all Civil/Structural outputs across projects
* Ensure designs are code-compliant, lifecycle-aware, and aligned with scope
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and bids
* Drive efficiency, cost optimisation, and best practices in structural design
? What We’re Looking For:
* BEng (Hons) in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) – ICE or IStructE preferred
* Extensive experience in civil/structural engineering, ideally across process or construction industries
* Skilled in structural analysis tools – STAAD Pro or TEKLA Structures
* Able to interpret site investigation reports and assess civil design implications
