EARLY YEARS TEACHER & SENCO at Basnett Street Nursery School, Burnley. The Governing Body is looking to recruit an innovative, creative and dedicated Early Years Teacher & SENCO to join our team.
Post details: Ref 197866. Grade Teachers Pay Range +SEN Allowance. Term: Full Time. Perm / Temp: Permanent. Required From: 01/01/2026. Closing Date: 10/10/2025.

You will contribute to delivering high standards of teaching and learning in the EYFS, work with other schools including local feeder primaries, and support school-wide initiatives as a SENCO and leader.

Essential Experience
* Evidence of an in-depth knowledge of the delivery of effective teaching and learning in the EYFS.
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of child development.
* Experience leading whole school initiatives.
* Commitment to inclusion and addressing diversity positively.
* Experience working with SEND children and using a range of approaches/strategies to support and meet their needs.
Desirable Experience
* Experience of reporting to Governors.
* Strong behaviour management with a relational, inclusive approach.
* Experience leading and managing a large team of Teaching Assistants to ensure consistency in curriculum implementation.
* Experience undertaking the role of SENCO.
