About the role

Support Worker – SEND Schools

Middlesbrough

Supply Role

£1,778 - £2150 per month (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

The Role

As a Support Worker in SEND Schools, your primary responsibility is to provide essential support to students within our SEND Primary School You will assist with personal care, and hygiene, administer medications, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with teachers, implement behavior management strategies, and contribute to maintaining accurate records. Your empathy, effective communication, and adaptability will be key assets in fostering student well-being and academic progress.

Working in highly regarded school's in Middlesbrough, we have relationships with a vartiety of SEND Schools. Currently looking for staff who will be ready for the start of the September term.

Requirements

The requirements for the Support Worker in SEND Schools position are:

Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
Be resilient and able to meet demands of a special school setting.
Understands the needs of students with learning difficulties.
Be reliable in both attendance and punctuality.
