Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Shop Manager to work alongside the Shop Manager in our Debden Shop. This is a part-time role (22 hours per week over 7 days, including Sundays) with a salary of £15,861.41 pro rata. Location: Debden Shop.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Shop Manager in driving sales and profits and in delivering the best level of customer service.
* Work closely with staff and volunteers to support store operations and customer engagement.
* Lead in the absence of the Shop Manager and inspire and empower people around them.
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including the local community, to build support for the shop.
Qualifications and Skills
* Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and a positive, energetic approach.
* Ability to lead and work well in a team; capable of taking initiative and handling challenges.
* Creative ability you can bring to the role.
* Good communication skills both inside and outside the shop.
