Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental anatomy and be proficient in the use of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and medical imaging technologies. As an Orthodontist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating dental irregularities, ensuring that patients achieve optimal oral health and aesthetic results.
Duties
* Conduct comprehensive examinations to assess patients' orthodontic needs.
* Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient assessments.
* Utilise CAD software to design and create orthodontic appliances.
* Perform various orthodontic procedures, including fitting braces, retainers, and other corrective devices.
* Monitor patient progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments as needed.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other specialists to provide holistic patient care.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining their orthodontic appliances.
* Stay updated on advancements in orthodontic techniques and technologies.
Experience
* A degree in Dentistry followed by specialised training in Orthodontics is essential.
* Proven experience in an orthodontic setting is preferred.
* Familiarity with CAD software and medical imaging techniques is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and orthodontic principles is required.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
