General Description:
Key Responsibilities
* Good knowledge of wing structures, including both primary and secondary structures.
* Understanding of in-service requirements and airline/operator expectations.
* Preparation of Technical Dispositions (TD), repair schemes, and Technical Approval Sheets (TAS).
* Analyze and design modifications or corrective actions with reference to the Structural Repair Manual (SRM).
* Preparation of Static Stress Assessment Sheets (SAS), Fatigue Approval Sheets (FAS), and TAS.
* Ability to identify ACDs and refer to relevant check stress files for applicable Weight Variants (WV).
* Knowledge in preparation of Static Repair Work Files.
* Experience in aircraft wing repairs, providing design solutions for in-service damages (accidental and aging).
* Strong understanding of SRM chapters and repair principles specific to wing structures.
* Good knowledge of ATA chapters and NDT inspection methods.
* Familiarity with aircraft materials, fastener types, and standard practices.
* Understanding of aircraft design principles and GD&T.
* Ability to manage changing schedules, handle high-priority tasks, and demonstrate responsiveness.
