As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of established customer accounts while identifying opportunities to increase revenue and strengthen long-term partnerships.
You will work closely with customers to understand their operational needs, ensuring they receive exceptional service, competitive solutions, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop existing key customer accounts
* Build strong, long-lasting client relationships
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across PPE and site consumable products
* Deliver excellent customer service and account support
* Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and manage customer expectations
* Work collaboratively with internal teams including procurement, operations, and customer service
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity
* Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be commercially aware, customer-focused, and highly organised with a proven ability to manage accounts and build relationships.
Requirements
* Previous experience in account management, sales, or business development
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Experience within PPE, construction supplies, industrial products, or site consumables would be highly advantageous
* Confident xsngvjr negotiating and managing customer accounts
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Full UK driving licence preferred
