Responsibilities
:
The successful candidate will work on Market Risk solution with a technology stack that is best of breed, involving Python, Airflow, Pandas, NumPy, Flask, Plotly. They will join a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, buildingmercial products that are at the heart of the business and contributing directly to revenue generation.
1. Design and implement end to end applications in Python with an emphasis on efficiently writing functions on large datasets
2. Interpret and analyze business use-cases and feature requests into technical designs and development tasks
3. Participate in regular design and code review meetings
4. Be a responsive team player in system architecture and design discussions
5. Be proud of the high quality of your own work
6. Always follow quality standards (unit tests, integration tests and documented code)
7. Happy to coach and mentor junior engineers
8. Be delivery focused, have a passion for technology and enjoy offering new ideas and approaches
9. Demonstrable technical capacity in understanding technical deliveries and dependencies
10. Strong experience in working in software engineering projects in an Agile manner
What We're Looking For:
11. Bachelor's degree inputer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
12. Minimum 2 years' experience in developing applications using Python
13. Experience in developing data pipelines using Airflow
14. Linux/Unix, Git
15. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
16. Test frameworks
17. Agile and XP (Scrum, Kanban, TDD)
18. Experience with cloud-based infrastructures, preferably with AWS
19. Fluent in English
