Who You Are An experienced professional in children's social work with a strong background in safeguarding children. You are able to work under pressure, efficiently make informed decisions, and have the ability to supervise and mentor social workers. You demonstrate honesty, reliability, punctuality, and can effectively collaborate as part of a team and independently. What the Job Involves This role requires you to read referrals received by the local authority, make decisions on necessary actions, and provide guidance and advice to social workers. You will regularly review assessments, add management oversight, and conduct formal supervision of social workers. Additionally, you will arrange and attend Strategy and other meetings, and liaise with partner agencies. The position requires attending the office three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home two days a week. A strong understanding of the threshold for Care and Support and Child Protection, as well as knowledge of prevention services in the Wrexham area, is essential.
