Furniture Fitter / Driver
Family run office furniture company.
A fast-expanding agile family run business established since 1973, with a unique proposition into the market. Due to continued growth and expansion the role is ideal for a candidate who has a growth mindset and wishes to develop their career.
Applicant must have a clean driving licence and be able to drive up to 3.5Tonne. Minimum of 3 years driving experience is required.
The job will entail driving to different sites in England clearing, delivering and installing office furniture. This could be many sites in a day. 8.00 – 5.00 Monday – Friday, with occasional weekends and overnights.
£25K depending on experience & skills. O/T Available
Our vans are new and we provide work wear and tools, plus a company phone.
Good spoken/written English is also required for this role.
Job Description
Responsibilities-
· Office Furniture Assembly & Fitting.
· Driver up to 3.5 tonne.
· Checking delivery loads.
· Checking off collections.
· Ensure that allocated van is maintained & in a clean and safe condition.
· Ensure all your tools are correct and present before and after every delivery.
· Associated internal processes for reporting back pre & post install.
·Adhering to company H & S & quality control checks.
· Any other duties to assist Installation Manager.
The profile –
· The candidate must be devoted to exceeding customer expectations in areas of customer service, fitting and assembly.
· Excellent communication and organisation is required as you will with interacting with customers as well as internal departments daily. Upholding high standards, so it is essential to possess high energy, passion for delivering customer satisfaction, positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile.
· Smart personal presentation always and well-spoken English.
· A current UK resident.
