Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital is seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to join the Maternity Department as the Admin Manager. The role is integral to the Maternity Management team, providing effective day-to-day administrative support, streamlining and improving administrative functions and processes, and leading the administration team supporting 3 Outpatient and 5 Inpatient areas to facilitate the smooth running of the department. Organisational and leadership skills are essential in this role.

We are looking for a candidate dedicated to delivering an excellent patient experience and maintaining positive work relationships. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, maintaining effective communication and promoting teamwork. The post holder will work closely with midwives and the obstetrics team and will be accountable to the Maternity Business Manager for the QCCH site.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the people, processes, and performance of an administration or service support team within a specified service.
2. Plan and prioritise the work associated with their team and organise all activities to achieve a cost-effective, productive, high-quality service.
3. Provide cross-site support to enable co-operation within and amongst teams.
