We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join a highly regarded commercial property business in Birmingham, on an initial 12 month contract.
Working within a professional property management team, youll oversee the soft facilities services across a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties. Youll take responsibility for supplier management, building compliance, and regular site inspections, making sure tenants receive a safe, efficient, and high-quality service.
In this varied role, you will:
* Manage soft services contracts and supplier relationships
* Carry out weekly site inspections, ensuring buildings are safe and compliant
* Oversee compliance records, audits, and planned maintenance schedules
* Support budget management and cost control
* Act as a key point of contact for tenants, contractors, and colleagues
* Assist with tendering and onboarding new service provider
