Role:
As the Marketing Manager, you will develop the marketing plan and oversee the implementation of marketing activities for HRS Communications. Reporting to the CEO and CMO, you will ensure the marketing plan is delivered on time, within budget, and meets KPIs. Responsibilities include campaign delivery, analyzing and reporting marketing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to promote our services and enhance brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the development of the marketing strategy
2. Conduct market research, industry insights, and trend analysis to inform the marketing strategy
3. Develop a marketing plan of activity
4. Create a content strategy and calendar of activity
5. Lead the development of an events and partnership strategy and calendar
6. Manage the marketing budget, tracking, and reporting
7. Manage all marketing data, including CRM
8. Set and review key marketing KPIs
Marketing Delivery:
1. Manage external agencies' performance against KPIs, including website, SEO, and graphic design agencies, ensuring delivery aligns with goals. Hold third-party suppliers accountable and take corrective actions as needed
2. Lead and support the Marketing Executive in managing social media platforms, creating content for blogs, websites, email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials
3. Coordinate marketing events such as webinars, trade shows, and conferences
4. Maintain and develop the HRS brand across all communication channels, ensuring message and branding consistency
Marketing Analysis:
1. Monitor and report on performance
2. Propose new ideas and creative marketing strategies
3. Lead and mentor junior marketing team members, collaborating with medical writing, design, and account management teams for seamless execution
Management Meetings:
1. Attend monthly meetings to update on marketing activities, discuss results, share insights, and inform strategic planning
Thought Leadership:
1. Position HRS and the team as industry thought leaders in nutrition communications, contributing to discussions, speaking opportunities, webinars, and events
Key Requirements:
Experience:
* 3+ years in marketing, preferably within health, wellness, or nutrition sectors
* Proven success in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
* Experience in client-facing roles with relationship management skills
Skills:
* Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.), SEO, email marketing, and social media strategies
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex nutrition info into engaging content
* Strong project management skills, juggling multiple projects and deadlines
* Analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics and social insights
* Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in business software including CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce), graphic design (Canva, InDesign, Photoshop), scheduling (Loomly, Hootsuite), project management (Asana, Monday.com), and website platforms (WordPress)
Passion for Nutrition & Wellness:
* Genuine interest in nutrition, health, and wellness; background in related fields is a plus
* Ability to stay current with trends and research in nutrition
Qualifications:
* Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
* CIM qualification or working towards one
* Experience in an agency setting
* Interest or experience in nutrition, health, and wellness
