As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, youll deliver high-quality technical solutions on projects for both public and private sector clients across sectors such as education, healthcare, defence, pharmaceutical, and commercial. Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of electrical building services designs across a varied project portfolio
* Prepare designs, feasibility studies, reports and contract documents
* Assist with building analysis and design calculations
* Liaise with clients, contractors and other design disciplines
* Help manage project programmes to ensure on-time delivery
* Ensure work complies with health and safety standards and best practice
* Work closely with senior engineers and contribute to the wider teams technical delivery
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* HND, degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
* A good understanding of BS7671
* Familiarity with design software such as Amtech/Hevacomp/Dialux
* Experience with AutoCAD and ideally Revit MEP
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach
* Knowledge of fire alarm and emergency lighting design
* Awareness of structured wiring and security system design
* Understanding of current legislation and sustainable building standards (Low/Zero Carbon Technologies, BREEAM)
