UK Finance Manager | International Developer & Contractor | Remote (UK Based)
JDR Development Co. is looking to appoint a UK Finance Manager to take full ownership of the finance function outside of the US.
JDR Development is a rapidly growing California-based developer and general contractor delivering high-end residential and hospitality projects across Napa Valley and Northern California. With revenues already exceeding $30m and ambitious plans for significant growth, this is an exciting opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial business at a pivotal stage of its journey.
This is a hands-on role working directly with the founders to help build structure, improve processes and support the international scaling of the business. There is a clear pathway into a future Head of Finance position as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Full ownership of finance across all non-US entities
• Implementing SOPs across AP/AR and wider finance processes
• Auditing and improving existing financial structures
• Building an audit-ready finance roadmap
• Cash flow management and reporting
• Managing a Philippines-based processing team
• Liaising with US accountants and stakeholders
• Providing commercial insight directly to the founders
About You:
• 5–10+ years’ experience within finance/accounting roles
• Strong management accounting background
• Experience within construction, development or related sectors preferred
• Strong systems capability, ideally QuickBooks or equivalent
• Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership
• Exposure to US accounting highly advantageous
• Ambitious and excited by the opportunity to grow with the business
