I'm working with a well-respected civil engineering contractor known for delivering complex groundworks, concrete, and structural projects across London and the South East. They're looking for a strong Senior Quantity Surveyor - someone with solid experience, ideally coming from another major civils contractor, who's ready to take real commercial ownership of key schemes.
You'll be involved in some technically challenging projects - so they're after someone who genuinely understands construction methodology, plant, and materials, and can spot change early by getting into the detail of drawings and specifications.
If you're confident pricing variations from first principles, have a good grounding in NEC contracts (Option A/C experience is a bonus), and know how to work with planners on programme impacts (Clause 62), this role will suit you perfectly.
